Jaguar XF 2012 – 2015 BCM Issues

Body Control Module (BCM)

Do you drive a Jaguar XF from 2012, 2013, 2014, or 2015?

Have you recently disconnected and reconnected the car battery, only to find that your keys no longer work except for the light button?

Are you seeing the “SMART KEYS NOT DETECTED” error on the dashboard?

Smart Key Error

This is a common issue with the Jaguar XF from these years.

Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery can cause an error in the Body Control Module (BCM), similar to how simply unplugging a computer can cause errors on its hard drive.

To resolve this issue, the main dealer typically changes the Body Control Module and the Keyless Vehicle Module, then programs them together at a cost of around £2,000.

However, we can repair the BCM on a mobile basis, eliminating the need to recover your vehicle. We will come to you, remove the BCM from your vehicle, carry out the repair in our van, and then reinstall and reprogram all the modules together.

You will be left with two fully functional keys for an all-inclusive price of £550, offering significantly better value compared to the main dealer.

If you are experiencing this issue, please contact us today. We can arrange to send out a technician to carry out a diagnostic to confirm if this is the problem that is affecting your car.
